We're building AI-powered legal support that puts people first.

Justice For All (J4ALL) was born from a simple observation: the legal system is broken for those who need it most. While technology has transformed nearly every aspect of modern life, access to legal help remains a privilege reserved for those who can afford it.

We're a team of technologists, legal experts, and advocates working at the intersection of AI and justice. Our mission is to democratize legal access through open-source AI tools that put power back in the hands of communities and individuals.

Founded at Stanford Law School's CodeX Center for Legal Informatics, we're building infrastructure for a fairer legal system—one where understanding your rights, navigating complex processes, and getting help doesn't depend on your income, background, or zip code.

Building a Fairer Future

Our work is focused on four pillars of systemic transformation. Through AI Applications, we build native legal tools that understand context and identify bias. Our commitment to Systemic Change leverages data to reveal and challenge long-standing legal inequities.

We ensure Community Access by removing language and complexity barriers, while our Open Infrastructure approach provides the open-source foundation for communities to build their own legal solutions without proprietary constraints.

Our Team

A unified, highly capable team with decades of combined experience across AI research, systems engineering, data, product, and strategic execution. Our team includes experts across multiple domains—legal, healthcare, regulatory compliance, and applied AI—working together to design, deploy, and operate vertical, domain-native intelligence systems.

We combine deep domain knowledge with hands-on engineering to support real workflows in regulated environments. Every contributor is aligned around J4All's vision: building durable, ethical, and measurable intelligence ecosystems that go far beyond generic solutions.
